NZCT Junior Secondary Schoolboys’ Tournament

The NZCT Junior Secondary Schoolboys’ Tournament is a national competition for Year 9&10 students.
As with the other school competitions organised by New Zealand Cricket, it provides an opportunity for the players to participate in a limited-overs competition (40 overs per team) and have the chance to make the national finals and be crowned NZ champions.

It is organised on a regional basis, split amongst New Zealand Cricket’s six major associations. Auckland Cricket organises the competition in the Auckland region, with the winner representing the Association at the national finals in Palmerston North in March each year.
It is open to all Year 9 students for the first stage of the competition (i.e. October to December) and Years 9 & 10 students for the second stage of the competition (i.e. January to March).
