Adithya Ashok is in line to make his List A debut, while George Worker is set to feature in his first Ford Trophy match for the ACES.
Ross ter Braak is named in the first squad off 2022, Lockie Ferguson will come in for the left-armer for January 3rd.
Coming off five T20s in 12 days, the ACES face the challenge of switching formats and it is something the side will have to get used to, having missed the first two months of the summer.
Skipper Robert O’Donnell is excited about the next leg in the ACES road trip, returning to Wellington where the side picked up their first win of the season on Christmas Eve.
“We are looking forward to continuing our road trip to Wellington and starting our Ford Trophy campaign.
“We have played some good T20 cricket over the last few games, so are excited to test ourselves and extend that into the one-day competition.
“Bring on the Basin,” O’Donnell said.
