ACES Look to Take Winning Momentum to Queenstown for Rematch with Otago Volts

James McCullyAces

The ACES’ Ford Trophy campaign will conclude its pre-Christmas run with a rematch against the Otago Volts, this time in Queenstown.

The gorgeous setting of the John Davies Oval holds positive memories for the ACES from winning the 2021/22 Ford Trophy final at the same ground earlier this year.

Despite this season not starting the way they would have liked, the ACES will take confidence from their hard-fought win against the Central Stags on Thursday and look to bring some momentum into tomorrow’s match.

There is only one change from the Stags win: Mark Chapman returns home for personal reasons with off-spinner Will Somerville flying down to join the squad ahead of the match.

First ball is at 11am with live scoring and live streaming available through nzc.nz.
