Cricket Blitz is an 6 or 8 -a-side lunch-time or after-school competition aimed at the social and beginning cricketer. The rules have been adapted to give everyone a fair go in a fun environment. There are grades to suit all between years 5-13.

Quikhit is a girls only tournament for kids in years 3-6. All participants will play 4-5 short cricket games over the day. Participation is again the goal in this tournament with each girl having an even chance to bat and bowl.

The National Primary School Cup and Shield is NZ Cricket's premier intermediate competition for both girls and boys. In September/October schools battle it out to win the right to represent Auckland at the NZ finals, typically played in late November.

Auckland Cricket is proud to again offer free fun and exciting sports sessions in primary schools during terms 4 and term 1 for Years 0-4 students. We'll send a coach into your school to teach the basics of bowling, batting and fielding for one to four sessions.

Champs of Champs is the Auckland wide finals tournament played at Eden Park. The winners of each regional year 5/6 tournament, held by RSTs and local clubs, are eligible to enter.

All around Auckland we have quality clubs providing great cricket opportunities for kids. There are heaps of school teams already taking advantage of the coaching, facilities and subsidised fees these clubs offer. If you have kids interested in playing cricket this is worth looking into further.

BatFirst - Free -

Year 3 Decile 1-5

 

BatFirst will eventually put a BatFirst pack in the hands of every Year 3 child that attends a Decile 5 or lower school in Auckland.
